Dear Valued Customer,

Considering the current circumstances related to COVID-19, Norsat International wants to take a moment to share how we are responding to these stressful and uncertain times. Norsat has prepared a public health emergency plan specifically in response to the COVID-19 outbreak to ensure we achieve continuity of business at a high level of service while providing a safe environment for our personnel as per guidelines set by the Canadian government and health agencies. As our valued customer, we would like to provide you with a summary of our plan.  

The following is a list of measures we are currently undertaking: 

  • We have conducted a risk assessment of key functions in each department and have action plans to avert potential arising issues
  • To minimize the impact to our customers, we are currently increasing our production and plan to increase inventory safety stock levels. Additionally, we are in discussion with our downstream suppliers to ensure there is business continuity in the next levels of the supply chain.
  • We have deployed to shift to a remote work environment where possible, and our work from home capabilities have been successfully stress-tested to ensure a seamless transition. We can report that our remote access systems are very strong, enabling our staff to be highly responsive to your business needs throughout this unprecedented and unique situation.
  • We have developed emergency succession plans for key roles within the company as our commitment to sustaining a healthy functioning organization for our stakeholders.  

We understand you may have concerns and/or questions relating to your orders. We want to reassure you that we are undertaking all necessary steps to ensure all parts of our business can operate as usual.
